Basic triagular shawl pattern

Yarns: double knits

Needles: 7mm circular needles

Cast on 1st.

Row 1: Knit in front and  back of this st = 2sts.

Row 2: Knit in front and back of 1st st, knit 1 = 3sts

Row 3 – 6: Knit in front and back of 1st st, knit across. Do this until you have 7sts.

Row 7: Knit 3, YO (yarn over), knit across = 8sts

Repeat row 7 till the size you want, ending with an even number of sts.

Next row: Knit 3, YO,  *K2tog, YO*, till last 3 sts, Knit 3. *repeat*

Next 4 rows: Knit 3, YO, knit to end.

Cast off.
