Double knit yarns. Use 4mm circular and/or double pointed needles when knitting in the round. Straight 4mm needles when knitting back and forth. When the beanie is finished sew seam together neatly.
Cast on 91sts.
Brim: Rib 2 plain, 2 purl for about 10 rows.
1 x 1 rib or any rib for 10 rows will do. Just stocking stitch for about 10 rows give a curling effect.
Body: Knit about 30 rows st.st.
You can do patterning, fair-isle, cabling, change of fancy yarns.
Crown:* Knit 11sts, knit 2 tog* for 7 times. Knit 1 row.
Repeat these 2 rows until 49sts remain.
Continue with the decreasing, but do it every row now, until 7sts in total remain. Break the yarn and thread through the stitches.
Work away loose threads.
All done!
